Martha and her mother, Alice, brother, Lawrence "Bud", sister, Joyce, and family friend, Glenn Miller (later Pinnell), drove a Model T Ford from Grafton to Tucson Arizona, where father, Percy Dadisman was convalescing from Tuberculosis. He contracted TB after being mustard gassed in WWI.
